Solar Project Manager
Status: Full-time Remote
Pay Rate: $65,000 – $85,000 annual salary (based on experience)

Summary:
The Project Manager performs a wide range of complex duties with the highest degree of skill, confidentiality and judgment. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities for the company projects including, but not limited to: processing and monitoring project status. This individual must manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities effectively; resolve matters expeditiously, proactively, and diplomatically; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute solar construction projects on time and within budget.
- Create schedules and keep schedules updated for all pipeline & ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with sales team on handoff (reviewing information from sales and contract/proposals) and pass on to design team.
- Evaluate, maintain, and improve vendor/partner relationships.
- Oversee design and ensure design/permitting timelines are met.
- Manage internal operations process software to ensure project level overview and tracking.
- Regular invoice creation and submission to ensure revenue goals are met within project timelines.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years direct solar project coordinator experience and 1 year project management experience
- Direct management experience/certification

Solar Inspection Coordinator
Status: Full-time

PV Design Engineer
Status: Full-time

Summary:
A solar engineer is a professional who specializes in using sunlight to generate electricity. They plan, design and execute solar energy projects and manage everything from residential rooftop installations to large-scale municipal projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience using AutoCAD 2012 or newer
- Experience in creating Residential and Commercial Solar plans
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code
- Familiarity with Solar Code requirements of cities in LA, Riverside, San Bernardino, & Orange County

- Familiarity with shade studies and energy production calculation software
- Familiarity with Enphase and Solar Edge system monitoring software

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing all inventory in the warehouse and ensuring accurate accounting of all supplies. They shall ensure it is well-organized by being appropriately stocked and labeled.

Interconnection Manager
Status: Full-time
Pay Rate: $25,000 – $80,000

Summary:
Interconnection Project Managers are responsible for the management of the interconnection process in target markets across the US. This position is critical for execution of the company’s development initiatives and overall interconnection process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively train and manage utility coordinators.

Be the point of contact for all utility coordination on transmission level interconnection projects by supporting various DEPCOM project execution teams by defining, tracking and executing all interconnection related tasks.

Job Title: Solar Installer

American Solar Advantage (ASA), is currently seeking a Solar Installer, to maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules. May perform minor electrical work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create or interpret the solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation and where all the components will be installed.
- Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
- Perform trenching, concrete work
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structure.
- Do all electrical work needed to connect solar system to electric grid. This includes proper grounding systems, controls, and all testing necessary.
- Weatherproof the solar installation in accordance with local safety regulations and the specifications of the manufacturer.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in both a Residential and Commercial Settings,
Required Experience:
- 2-4 years’ solar experience preferred
- MUST have a reliable phone
- Willingness to work long hours, often in unpleasant weather conditions, especially when making repairs to damaged lines.
- A high degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required. The high degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to others when responsible for the flow of electrical power. Exposed to high voltage electricity.
